I've been around this forum long enough to see plenty of "revolutionary" EV tech come and go. Now, with all the buzz around Leviton's charging station, I'm left wondering: are we really looking at a solid step forward or just another rebranded product hoping to cash in on current trends? Most of the chatter focuses on aesthetics and integration with smart home systems, but what about real-world reliability, security of the firmware, and, really, under-the-hood quality?
Does anyone have hands-on experience with these units, especially in less-than-ideal conditions? Are there any red flags in terms of performance or long-term durability that haven't been swept under the rug by marketing? I’m not convinced that this is going to be the game changer that everyone’s making it out to be—sometimes it feels like just more hype instead of real innovation. What are your thoughts?
